In Report done by WHO ,they highlighted the increasing use of unregulated alcohol marketing techniques and they found that there is increasing number of heavy drinkers .
By using digital means ,there are increasing number of advertisement about alcohol across the globe ,those advertisements are in form of linking ,alcohol brands to sports and cultural activities ,sponsorship and use of emails . SMS and social media.
This report revealed that in young children ,there is increasing number of heavy alcohol consumption it highlight that there is need for more effective national regulations and international collaborations.
Worldwide ,Three million people die each year as a result of harmful use of alcohol ,one people every 10 seconds ,representing about 5% of all deaths .among those who die with alcohol there is 13.5% of 20-39 years of age .
Heavy use of alcohol is associated with many health problems including heart diseases, liver diseases and mental problems ,uncontrolled use of alcohol causes family conflicts and poverty in the family.
Without strict rules and regulations about alcohol use and alcohol advertisements ,there will be increasing use of alcohol in younger children as technology advance.
Every body including young children can access and buy alcohol online without any restrictions ,so rules and regulations about alcohol use and consumption in younger children must be strengthened
